Hello, I’m Chuck Vercellone and I want to thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself and Wealth Strategies Group, LLC to you. I am an Investment Advisor Representative of Sigma Planning Corporation, A Registered Investment Advisor and a Registered Representative of Sigma Financial Corporation, Member FINRA/SIPC.  Wealth Strategies Group, LLC is not affiliated with Sigma Planning Corp or Sigma Financial Corp.

I am independent, not tied to a particular investment company or industry so I do not offer proprietary products.  More than 90% of my time is spent working under the Registered Investment Advisor model.  I work on a fee-basis, that means I get paid to provide service.  I provide a quarterly consolidated investment statement to my investment clients so they can see all their assets in one place and how they are performing.  As a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) with over 30 years industry experience, I have seen a number of market and economic cycles.  Over the years, the financial business has gone through many changes.  When I began my career, the goal was to provide a service where one person would handle all areas of one’s financial life – from life and health insurance to investments.  Today, I only focus on two activities, planning and investment management, I have created relationships with professionals who can provide the other services my clients may need.

My clients tend to be college educated, middle class families and work or worked in white-collar occupations, such as middle level management, sales, small business owners and professionals.  Most have goals to educate their children or grandchildren, retire, travel, own a vacation home, volunteering for their favorite charitable organization, or just have more time for family and friends.

I am often asked why I do what I do.  Quite simply, the answer lies in the following story about my father.  He worked as a pencil and paper draftsman his whole life.  The company he worked for was small and offered no retirement plans of any kind.  His only savings for retirement was a small IRA.  When he was in his early 60’s, an English company bought the firm, or more pointedly, the client base and he found himself out of work.  The lack of any meaningful retirement assets eliminated the option simply to retire and required him to look for employment.  The combination of his age and lack of CAD/CAM experience eliminated him from consideration of any opportunities that arose. He ended up working part-time as a janitor, cleaning restrooms and emptying trashcans.  I believe he aged 10 years that first year.  Without any meaningful plan and finances to retire, I truly believe that’s when he started to die.  I work with my clients so they don’t go through what my father did, so they may retire and live out their retirement years on their own terms.

If this sounds like you, or someone you know, let’s talk and see if I can be of help.  You can check me out on my website, www.wsgllc.net/welcome, LinkedIn, or give me a call at 248-680-4622.  I look forward to hearing from you.
